About the Work
FUTURA — FL-006 POINTMAN – PRINT
The image presents a dark Pointman figure elevated on a block at the left, while a large linear construction of another angular figure or vehicle-like form extends across the pale background. Thin black lines create a skeletal, technical quality, contrasting with the solidity of the smaller standing sculpture. Futura’s practice moves fluidly between graffiti, abstract drawing and character design, and the Pointman motif connects these strands through its alien, aerodynamic anatomy. The composition reads almost like a study of sculpture and blueprint simultaneously, using monochrome restraint to emphasise contour, structure and spatial relationship.
