About the Work
MOLLY / KENNY WONG — MOLLY – COLLECTIBLE FIGURE
A highly stylised blonde female character stands on a decorated plinth, wearing elaborate gold-toned armour or costume and holding a long central sword. The figure’s enlarged turquoise eyes and simplified facial features contrast with the ornate clothing and architectural base. The result combines fantasy-game iconography with the proportions of a contemporary designer toy. Metallic details, warm gold and brown tones create a ceremonial atmosphere, while the rigid frontal pose reinforces the impression of a miniature guardian or heroine. The work demonstrates how collectible figures can translate narrative costume design into compact sculptural display objects.
