About the Work

ERIC SO — ESTATE – COLLECTIBLE FIGURE

The composition shows two cartoon-like male figures beneath a rainbow arch, with one smaller character positioned in front of or beside a larger companion. Their simplified faces, dark hair and muted green clothing contrast with the bright bands overhead. A small shark-like form appears at the right, adding a playful narrative element. The work combines friendship, memory and pop illustration within a tightly framed sculptural or relief-like presentation. Its emotional tone is gentler than the hard-edged aesthetics of much urban vinyl, relying instead on stylised intimacy and recognisable character relationships to create a collectible object with narrative appeal.
